Pinnacle Baptist Church is a vibrant, growing young ministry with plenty of opportunities for those who are looking both to grow and to minister in the Lord. Here are a few of the ministry opportunities at Pinnacle…
Sunday School is available for every age group. There is a children’s class for K-5th grade, a youth class for 6th-12th grades, and an adult class which meets in the sanctuary. All of our Sunday School classes meet at 10:00 am.
Our music ministry is a combination of traditional hymns and Southern Gospel music. We still use actual hymnals in our services and have individuals and groups which sing specials before the preaching each week. Additionally, we have Southern Gospel groups from around the southeast who are scheduled, generally one Sunday evening every other month; these singings are frequently attended not only by our members but also by many in our community who enjoy good gospel music.
We have supported missionaries as a church since our church was founded. We currently support missionaries from a variety of Independent Baptist mission boards and have an annual missions conference each year in addition to missionaries who visit from time to time as they are in the country on furlough or new missionaries who are on deputation seeking to get to the field. Pinnacle Baptist is a missions-minded church, and our people give generously to missions in addition to their tithes. Click HERE to meet our missionaries.
The preaching and teaching ministry from the Bible is at the center of who we are as a local church. Our pastor is an exceptional expository preacher who breaks the Word down effectively verse-by-verse, making it easy to understand, and is also a gifted teacher. As a former Bible college administrator and professor, he brings decades of Bible and history knowledge to each sermon or Bible study. Sunday evenings are usually reserved for in-depth studies in different books of the Bible. If you are an enthusiastic student of the Bible and looking for a teacher from whom you can learn much, you must come hear our gifted preacher.
Fellowship is an important part in the life of any local church. Here at Pinnacle Baptist, we intentionally make opportunities to fellowship as well as worship together as a family. Every Wednesday evening, the entire church meets in the fellowship hall instead of the sanctuary for an informal service that includes singing, prayer requests, a devotion, a Christian film, and a time of refreshments and fellowship. We also have meals together throughout the year at different times, plus singings out under the pavilion. Our youth frequently have “youth activities” and fun times together, also.
In summary, we are truly a “family” and enjoy spending time together, growing together, and serving the Lord together. If that’s for what you’re searching, you’re going to be right at home at Pinnacle Baptist Church!
